Brian Buffini is the founder and chairman of Buffini & Company, the largest training and coaching company in North America. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Brian emigrated to San Diego in 1986, where he became the classic American rags-to-riches story. After becoming one of the top-producing real estate agents in the nation, he founded Buffini & Company—an organization dedicated to sharing his powerful lead-generation systems with others.
In addition, Brian’s podcast, The Brian Buffini Show, has more than 12 million listeners in 178 countries. Brian became a New York Times, Amazon and Wall Street Journal best-selling author with his latest book, “The Emigrant Edge.” Today, Brian travels the world sharing a message of encouragement about how to “live the good life.” He has been inducted into the RISMedia Real Estate Newsmakers Hall of Fame and has been recognized in the Swanepoel Power 200. Brian and his bride, Beverly — co-founder of Buffini & Company — have six children and reside in Southern California.
Dermot Buffini is the CEO of Buffini & Company, the largest business coaching and training company in North America.
Joining Buffini & Company in 1999 as the Senior Vice President of Business Development, Dermot was responsible for developing new markets and corporate partnerships, as well as the company’s overall growth plan. He quickly became known as a passionate leader and prominent business strategist. Dermot assumed the CEO role in 2013 and under his leadership provides a significant impact in the lives of more than 3 million people from 45 countries through the company’s events, training and coaching programs.
A recognized leader, Dermot has been named a RISMedia Newsmaker, a finalist of San Diego Business Journal’s CEO of the Year and ranked in the Swanepoel Power 200. His commitment to excellence has led Buffini & Company as a Top Place to Work in San Diego consecutively since 2016. Dermot emigrated to San Diego, California, from Dublin, Ireland in 1999.
Originally from the Midwest, Jim spent nearly a decade at Pella Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of windows and doors, serving in a wide-range of financial positions. In 2001, he joined Buffini & Company as its Controller, later becoming the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. When not in the office, Jim enjoys quality time with his wife and son, and perfecting his game on the golf course.
A 25-year sales and marketing expert who’s worked with industry giants such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Guinness and Easter Seals to name just a few. As Buffini & Company’s first-ever Chief Customer Officer (CCO), she’s responsible for the customer experience. Terri holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and General Business from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
As the Vice President of the Buffini Coaching Institute, Dave McGhee is working to reshape the landscape of business coaching, providing coaches access to the most cutting-edge systems, philosophies and strategies.
Dave has nearly two decades of experience working with high-performing business owners and leaders. The clients he has coached rank among the Wall Street Journal's Top 100 and the National Association of REALTORS ®30 under 30.
As the former Vice President of Coaching at Buffini & Company, Dave recruited and led a team of more than 60 Certified Business Coaches who have helped thousands of business owners build, grow and scale their businesses.

Over the course of the last two decades, Rachael Yeaman has analyzed how individual strengths influence human emotion, thought and behavior. As Buffini & Company’s Vice President of REALStrengths®, Rachael works with the leadership team to bring their proprietary offering into their corporate commitment and business strategy. She also leads the REALStrengths team in innovation, product development and experience enhancement to ensure more individuals have access to what makes them uniquely great.
Rachael holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pepperdine University, and a master's degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She strives to live every day with a grateful heart, joyful attitude, curious mind and intentional action. Rachael lives in Dallas with her husband and two children.
Ed Sablan is Buffini & Company’s Director of Product Management & Technology, overseeing its suite of digital and physical product offerings providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for real estate agents, brokers, lenders and small business owners.
Ed has been with Buffini & Company since 2016 first serving as Product Manager and then Director of Product Development before being named to his current position in 2023. Prior to joining the company, he held positions in several companies where he was the product manager for teams overseeing agile software development throughout the full product lifecycle.
Ed is a U.S. Navy veteran with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of La Verne, La Verne, Calif. and a M.B.A. from San Diego State University.
During his 25+ years in the marketing space, Mike has worked with some of the most influential B2B and B2C companies in the world, including Disney, Microsoft, IBM, and American Honda. Joining Buffini & Company in 2014, Mike is responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategies, tactics and programs. Mike holds a BA in Political Science and a MS in Instructional Design & Technology from California State University, Fullerton.
An accounting and finance professional with 20+ years of experience. Melissa has held senior-level finance roles at Texas Instruments, Alliance Semiconductor, Integrated Sensor Solutions, and the California franchise office of Outback Steakhouse before joining Buffini & Company in 2003. Melissa holds an MBA and a BA in Accounting from Iowa State University.
From music to television and now business coaching and training, Heather Luskie joined Buffini & Company with years of brand building and storytelling experience across multiple industries. In her current role as Vice President of Buffini Brand Studio, Heather oversees a talented team of content developers, visual designers, video producers and production professionals who create impactful content experiences for events, training, podcasts and marketing focused on benefitting clients’ lives personally and professionally.
Before joining the company, Heather spent 11 years at the NBC-owned station in San Diego, spearheading unique creative positioning and promotion. As the station’s Brand Director, she oversaw a rebranding, shift to digital deliveries, the launch of a duopoly and brand campaigns for several Olympic Games and Super Bowl opportunities. She received seven Emmy Awards for her work there.
Heather has a B.A. in Communication from California State University, Fullerton. She enjoys spending time with her family in San Diego.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Daniel is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s marketing initiatives, including acquisition, branding, digital marketing, social media and advertising.
Prior to joining Buffini, he held executive leadership positions in pharmaceutical research companies specializing in clinical trials as well as a leading lodging and hospitality real estate investment trust. Prior to that, he ran his own company, focusing on brand development, strategy, marketing and communication.
Daniel attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. He and his wife live in the Nashville area with their two young children.
Darin serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Buffini & Company, where he leads the Product Development and Sales teams. In this role, he is focused on delivering innovative coaching, training, and software products to elevate companies who work by referral.
As one of the earliest tech founders in the real estate industry, he has dedicated over 15 years to helping individuals and companies worldwide make a meaningful impact.
Prior to joining Buffini & Company, Darin co-founded BombBomb in 2006, a pioneering video messaging company with over 100,000 users in 48 countries. He and his family reside in Colorado.
As the company’s Chief Coaching Officer, Christa Acevedo leads a team of more than 60 certified Business Coaches who in turn, work with thousands of real estate agents helping them to create and grow strong businesses that will thrive, increasing their income and time off.
Throughout her career, Christa has held executive-level positions in coaching business and leadership teams, as well as playing pivotal roles in recruiting, hiring and creating training programs.
Christa lives in the greater Nashville Metro area with her husband and two children.
